My Intention and Broad Vision Concerning Art and Design

My intention is to create art that’s to be admired for its value and the positive impression it gives. Designed for looking at, enjoying, and using, defined in what it is and what it’s supposed to be. Whether fantastical or brutal in excecution, my intention is to not leave anything for what it is.

Now is the time where the purpose of the work is not to question reality, but to constitute and affirm it. Reconstituting truths we all know to be true, which have been made ambiguous through endless questioning and denial.




The Dimora di Rocco brand

Since 2021 I’ve been developing ‘Dimora di Rocco’, meaning Rocco’s dwelling and residence. The ready to wear items and accessories feature historic motifs, focus on hardware, detail, material. To translate something into— and thereby to create into the brands proclivity to opulence, luxury, playfulness, is important for the brand. It shows plenty of familiarities, even though it is very much it’s own thing. The idea is to create something new, while appreciating the past, not wanting to tear anything down. As it is Rocco’s dwelling, it represents my timely state and interest. And although there is the personal aspect— most importantly, the product is made to be desireable for as many as possible.
